Have yourself a very Red Ribbon Christmas
While waiting in line at the mall this afternoon, my colleague reminded me that we have 18 days left before Christmas. I gave her a frightened look and told her that I am not yet done with my Christmas shopping and this has been stressing me out for two weekends already.
She, on the other hand, was still thinking of her Noche Buena menu.
Noche Buena is a truly Filipino tradition where the family gathers around the dining room after coming home from the Christmas mass and feasts on sweet ham, fruit salad and more! As I try to throw in some suggestions that my colleague can include in her menu, I remembered that delicious slices of cakes that I was treated to by Red Ribbon last week.
Santa's Wish Cake
First was the Santa's Wish Cake (Php. 550). Christmas is a very busy time of the year as our schedules are filled to the rim with dinners, exchange gifts, parties and a lot more. For those who are always on the go and do not have the luxury of time to shop for gifts, why not drop by your favorite Red Ribbon store and order a couple of Santa's Wish Cakes that may be personalized with your very own dedication!
This adorable looking cake is made with moist rhumbutter with caramel filling and covered with smooth icing. Kids will surely love the gumpaste christmas trees at surrounding the cake. It's a very light yet sweet satisfying cake that will surely put a smile on its lucky recipient.

Can you spell I-N-D-U-L-G-E-N-T? Christmas is the time of the year where most puts their diets on hold. Tis the season to be jolly and we allow ourselves to indulge away. As you feast on mom's signature fruit salad or on that mouthwatering lechon, be sure to leave some space for dessert. I'm not kidding when I say that this is one of the best tasting cakes that I've tried and I'm willing to go back for more.
We were given a slice of the new Chocolate Walnut Fudge (Php. 650) that's made with Hershey's Dark Chocolate. The cake has two layers that being of a creamy mousse filling on top of a moist fudge-y brownie base. Both layers are loaded with chopped walnuts and the entire cake is finished off with dark chocolate ganache and lined with chocolate curls. This is truly a chocoholic's dream cake!
