Feel the Magic at Enchanted Kingdom!
It was a great way to celebrate Easter! At exactly 930AM last Sunday, I together with Paul, my sister Steph, our cousin A and a couple of friends boarded the special Enchanted Kingdom shuttle that will take us directly to Sta. Rosa, Laguna and back. We were with our fellow bloggers and a couple of friends from media.
The ride was really short as I just remembered taking a short nap and when I woke up, I immediately saw the ferris wheel from the window. My sister and cousin were excitedly clapping and preparing their bags already.
Enchanted Kingdom is definitely one place every local and foreign visitors should visit! It has a wide array of rides and attraction suitable for every member of the family!
Everyone in our group was so excited to explore the park. Paul was our designated photographer while our friends C, J and P were the brave souls who really tried almost all of the thrilling rides. I was just looking forward to the water rides while my sister and cousin just went with the flow.
We began with the Flying Fiesta at the Portabello zone which like a giant swing that can take you up and around! I love the feel of the cool wind on my face in every round.
Next we headed to the Rialto for some 3D-motion simulator ride! On our way there, we had fun taking photos on the cobblestone street that resembles like a 1940's era in Brooklyn, New York.
Before lunch, the girls wanted to go for a thrilling ride and up and down they went at Anchor's Away! This ride is really not for the faint-hearted. I tried it once and I can still remember how my legs were shaking as I step out of the ride as it ended. My heart leaps as I here their screams yet they all survived the ride and the brave girls even went back two more times! Woah!
After our filling lunch at the Amazing Grill we took it easy and walked down Midway Boardwalk and agreed to just try Dodgem which is everyone's favorite! Who does not love bump cars? I enjoyed racing after Paul and trying to evade getting hit by everyone else. It was a fun ride as we were all screaming and laughing as our cars bump into each other -- this scenario only happens in Enchanted Kingdom!
The brave girls are at it again, wanting to go for the Space Shuttle but we wanted to take it slow so off to the Wheel of Fate we go! I love this ride as we can see all of Enchanted Kingdom and beyond! The air is so cool up there and I love how relaxing it feels too.
After the ride, the brave girls eagerly headed to the Space Shuttle, this ride I had to beg off again as I don't think I can really take the adrenaline rush this thrilling ride. Instead, Paul and I found a great space by the platform near the Space Shuttle tracks and took our positions to take great shots from there.
I salute the brave girls for surviving the ride and we headed off to the food tent to cool down with ice cream and soda after. Not long right after finishing our drinks, we took the Carousel for yet another slow-paced ride. This is a childhood favorite and no visit to Enchanted Kingdom would be complete without this.
Our day was not over yet! In between breaks and yummy snacks, we chatted and tried out more rides. The best was the Rio Grande Rapids! This is definitely the best water ride as you ride down the wild stream on a big rubber boat. Get splashed on not once, not twice but a million times and watch out for that waterfalls somewhere along the ride! Dripping wet, we went for another round before heading off to the Jungle Log Jam for another water adventure!
It was truly an exciting day as we tested our adrenalines with every ride. A great way to bond with your friends on a wonderful summer day!
Watch out for my next entry as I share with you the newest attractions that you can find at Enchanted Kingdom! For now, why not set a date and plan a visit to this exciting theme park!
