Snack Time: Angry Puffs
Whenever hungry strikes especially during mid-day its so easy to just grab a bag of chips that's within reach. I got to admit I love munching on chips, rings and puffs. Like a little girl, I tend to be very greedy with my bag as I hug it tightly as to give a silent message that screams: "this is ALL MINE!"
Paul knows better not to mess with my stash of snacks. That's how much I take my snack seriously. Thus, when I was sent a bag of Angry Puffs sampler cups in four assorted flavors, I happily brought this with me when we went to Tagaytay for a fun weekend getaway with The Food Club.
What makes Angry Puffs different from all the puffs out there is that its air-baked not fried. This then gives me more reason to enjoy them in greater quantities. Freshness is their top priority thus they ensure that the puffs that you're enjoying has just been freshly puffed on the spot thereby removing the need for preservatives.
They have 9 fun flavors to choose from : Cheese Supreme, Hickory BBQ, Sour Cream, Sweet & Spicy, Chicharon, Vanilla, Chocolate, Buco Pandan and Cotton Candy.
We were able to try the Cheese Supreme, Sour Cream, Vanilla and Sweet and Spicy. For me, I loved the Cheese Supreme. I just can't get enough of the sweet cheesy powder that fully coated the light and crunchy puffs. Yum!
I initially was hesitant to try the Vanilla as I couldn't imagine tasting a sweet-flavored puff but I was pretty happy with it. Contrary to what I thought would taste dessert-sweet, the vanilla powder was very mellow and milky which reminded me of a favorite childhood snack called Ri-Chee.
It's amazing that I had the Angry Puffs out for more than 24 hours and it has still stayed crunchy all throughout. Since it's air-baked, the puffs are not greasy making it easier to munch on.
Angry Puffs comes in 3 cup sizes: Regular (Php. 35), Medium (Php. 50), Large (Php. 120) and Party Tub (Php. 200). They also have a promo where you can buy 3 regular cups for only Php. 100!
