I love reading OK! Magazine Philippines! Of course it's really a big plus that I HAVE to read this on a monthly basis for work but hey, I really do enjoy going through every single page from cover to cover. From OK!, I get ideas on what's the latest (and cutest) pair of shoes out there, what type of make-up goes with a particular occasion and of course, I get the most updated news about my favorite Hollywood celebrities and even that of the Royal Couple William and Kate. In fact, I turn to OK! to even get gown ideas for my designer to make for me.

Take this month for example, it truly is heart-breaking to find out that Tom and Kate are filing for divorce which made me think of Suri who I think is one of the most fashionable kid out there. OK! hasn't only been my stress reliever but it's my Hollywood fashion guru too! Don't you just love looking at beautiful photos of stylish men and women and the best are those of families who not only eat and pray together but they all dress wonderfully too! How I wish my future family can be like them. :)

Let me share with you some of my favorite stylish Hollywood families and couples:

Do you have a stylish family photo? To celebrate their 10th year anniversary, Electrolux Philippines is looking for the most stylish Filipino families out there!

The mechanics is simple:


1. Visit the Colors of Life Electrolux Photo Contest tab of the Little White Book Facebook page and read the mechanics. Then, go this site.

2. Upload the most stylish photo of your family (featuring at least 1 parent and 1 child) and fill in all required information (name, address, mobile number, email address). There is also a field for "Referred By" please type in Frannywanny.

Note: The submitted photo should at least contain 1 parent and 1 child; Only the immediate family (mother, father, siblings and may extend to grandparents) of the entrant can be featured in the submitted photo entry. 

3. Then they must answer the question, “Why is your family the Most Stylish Family?” and press SUBMIT.

Participants will receive a notification email that their entries have been received.Once this has been done, participants will see a prompt notification that their entries have been sent and that a notification email should be sent to the email they provided in the information. In the email they will also be notified that the picture will be screened and that from all the entries, only 20 will be chosen and uploaded to the Little White Book Facebook page for Voting.

 4. The criteria for the choosing the final 20 entries will be as follows:
- Concept of Warmth and Happiness : 25%
- Creativity : 25%
- Fashion Styling : 25%
- Originality : 25%

5. Promo period is from July 23 to August 26, 2012. Last day of submission is August 26, 2012.

Grand Prize – Electrolux EWF10741 Front LoadWasher
First Runner Up– Electrolux EWT704 T-Drive Top Load Washer
Second Runner Up – Electrolux Z2100 Listo Vacuum Cleaner

Furthermore, the top 20 photos will be featured in the official Electrolux Facebook page plus and the featured family members of the top three photos will be invited to participate in the Colors of Life Fashion Show!

As a parent, I have one thing that I dread the most and that's when any of my kids fall sick. From the moment we detect the faintest sniffle followed by sneezes and runny nose, we know one thing is for sure -- we will be having a couple of sleepless nights. Bag of Beans (Charito) in Tagaytay

I can't believe that we have been frequenting Tagaytay for more than a decade now and not once have I written about Bag of Beans ! I tried searching all over this blog and I found..nothing. To think that not a single trip to Tagaytay, back then, would ever be complete without stopping by Bag of Beans for lunch or merienda. I must have been to engrossed with their coffee and bread that I wasn't able to take photos of the place and their food thus no blog entry. They, after all, have one of the best brewed coffee in Tagaytay and the yummiest bread to go with it too. Bag of Beans has been an institution in Tagaytay. Just like us, other tourists and visitors would make sure to drop by in order to grab a bite or to take home some of their homemade goodies every time they find themselves in Tagaytay. Misto at Seda Vertis North

Happy Friday!  I'm not going to lie, Friday is one of my favorite days because it means, we're just a day away from the weekend! Who doesn't love the weekend, right? This is the day when I give my twins my uninterrupted attention. We would start the day with any breakfast of their choice (normally waffles for J, pancakes or peanut butter sandwich for L) followed by an hour of doing their homework and in the afternoon, we head out for their swim class! Sunday is more laid back as we would stay home and just laze around the house otherwise, we would go and visit my in laws and spend the day there.  Speaking of the weekend, I suddenly remembered one of the best weekends that we've had this year so far. This was when we had our staycation at Seda Vertis North  and the twins truly enjoyed every minute of it.
