All-Day Dining at Misto, Seda Nuvali

One thing that we love about staying at Seda Nuvali is it's proximity to a wide variety of food and retail establishments. You can literally walk over to Solenad or if walking is not your thing, it's literally a quick 2-3 minute drive. However, if you'd like to just stay in the hotel and enjoy a full R&R weekend, then you surely won't go hungry as they got Misto at the ground floor.

Misto is Seda's in-house F&B outlet and it's actually not unique only to Seda Nuvali. You can see Misto across several Seda hotels all over the country. To try Misto out, we decided to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there during our staycation weekend.

Right after checking-in and resting at our room, Paul and I headed down to Misto for lunch. They're having an on-going Bento Box promotion. It's actually a dinner promotion but we were so lucky to be given the chance to try it out at lunch.

Before we got to our main dish though, Paul also got to try the Salmon Pesto Wrap (Php. 380) for starters and he loved it! He said it's like a salad in a roll and he noted that the veggie was very fresh. How I wish I can eat salad again!

Shortly after, out came our Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box (Php. 550). I literally inhaled everything on my plate except for the two salad rolls included in there. The chicken teriyaki was really yummy and I love how it has a good meat to skin ratio. The rice serving was also very generous and the crunchy anchovies (dilis) was a good addition too. It's such a good deal for the price and we were told that the selection changes on a daily basis so you won't surely get tired of having the same thing over and over again.

After a good afternoon nap and cocktails at the lounge, we headed back down to the poolside area for a nice barbecue dinner prepared by Misto. Luckily, the weather cooperated with us so we got to enjoy our meal al fresco.

I believe that this is a special arrangement by Misto which you can request for especially during corporate events or special occassions. There was even a chef present who happily cooked our meats and seafood right on the spot! Oh I loved the delicious sausages while Paul enjoyed the freshly-grilled fish with the right dipping sauce.

We were also serenaded by Seda Nuvali's acoustic duo as we continued to enjoy our dinner feast. This was indeed the highlight of our stay and it's something I would recommend especially when you're planning a group stay at Seda Nuvali.

The next day, we woke up just in time to catch breakfast. I've been to quite a lot of provincial hotels and the truth is, breakfast has always been quite disappointing. It's either the selections were too few or the choices we pretty ho-hum. So imagine our surprise when we entered Misto and saw the wide array of breakfast options available.

They got a good line-up of freshly baked breads and pastries...

... a nice selection of fruits...

... and my personal favorite, the Pinoy breakfast corner with all the meats to go with your egg and garlic rice.

I also got to try their Arroz Caldo which was delicious!

We also checked out the Egg Station and opted to request for an omelet to be made. What a spread! We were so full that we opted to skip lunch that day.

It was indeed a very relaxing staycation at Seda Nuvali and the best part is, we didn't even have to leave the hotel premise to eat!
